Online Self-paced Courses
These courses are self-paced so you work on the material at your own pace. Once you register and pay for a class you have 30 days to complete the course. You can purchase an additional 30 days for $49 if you are not able to finish in the first 30 days.
Self-paced courses include the Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician (LAFT) course, the National Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician (NLAFT) course, and the Pennsylvania Aquatic Facility Technician (PAFT) course.
Online Self-paced descriptions
For the online course students will read through the textbook material for that course and watch the videos. Throughout the course there are quizzes to check for understandings. The final exam is the test that determines if the course is passed.
A passing score of 75% on the final exam is required for certification. If the exam is failed additional test attempts are allowed at no charge.
Online Self-paced Course Cost
Hours to complete the courses may take longer depending on the amount of time spent on quiz’s that are spaced throughout the course. The quiz scores do not count toward the final grade and are best used by participants to guide them as they prepare for the final exam.
