What We Offer
We train pool operators on effectively operating aquatic facilities that are open to the public. We have trained pool operators that work at hotels, motels, apartment complexes, townhomes, recreation centers, campgrounds, resorts, and many other types of facilities that have a swimming pool or hot tub. We have training available in many different formats.
Each of the courses are available in a classroom format. Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician (LAFT) and National Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician (NLAFT). The LAFT course is approximately 7 hours of instruction followed by a test. The NLAFT course is approximately 14 hours of instruction followed by a test.
Each of the courses are available as a self-paced online course. Both the Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician (LAFT) and National Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician (NLAFT) are available. We also have the Pennsylvania Aquatic Facility Technician (PAFT) course specific for swimming pool and core renewal credits for the State of Pennsylvania Pesticide Applicator requirements.
Each of the courses are available as a online live course. The Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician (LAFT) and National Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician (NLAFT) are available as an Online Live Course.
The National Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician (NLAFT) can be earned by completing approximately 8 hours online self-paced followed by attending our online live one-day course.
The National Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician (NLAFT) can be earned by completing approximately 8 hours online self-paced followed by attending one of the one-day classroom courses or the second day of the NLAFT classroom course.
The LAFT certificate can be renewed by taking the renewal test by one of the following methods: online, in-person during a classroom course, or by mail order. The NLAFT can be renewed by successfully passing the test after attending one of the following: the one-day LAFT classroom course, the online self-paced LAFT course or the online live LAFT course.
