Health Department Rules and a Study Guide. This course meets the requirements for being a pool operator in South Carolina. Participants completing our course and scoring 70% or better on our open book test will not have to take the State test. If you fail our test you may take our course and test as many times as needed to pass our test at no additional charge. You will receive "The Complete Swimming Pool Reference" book (48.95 retail value), S.C. Health Department Rules and a Study Guide. These materials help prepare students for the South Carolina Pool Operator's Test. For information on how you can register for the state exam call 1-803-898-4300. It is suggested that you register for the state test several months in advance. Sign up for the two-day Licensed Aquatic Facility Technician Course for only $200. Participants will take an open book exam at the conclusion of the course. Participants scoring 70% or better will receive our national certificate. Participants no longer need to take the state test after finishing our course. Our certificate is valid for being a pool operator in South Carolina.
